Renard Coward, previously known as “Ace” has evolved as a Hip Hop artist. Since 2001, he has boldly renamed himself, “Kockiee” (Cocky). His title describes the confidence that he has in his talents. Kockiee’s writing ability and energetic stage presence havw proven that he is a definite force to be reckoned with.
In the summer of 2006, this Polk county Florida native released his first 17- track mixtape titled L - Town Representa. Packed with powerful club tracks such as “Shake Yo Dreds ” ft. G - Beezy, “Night Rider”, and P.I.M.P. Kockiee gained recognition as an ambitious performer with a raw edge. Throughout the years that followed , Kockiee traveled the southern region and displayed his talents to major music moguls such as Jermaine Dupree, E class and the Slip n’ Slide Djs. He realizes the extreme amount of patience and professionalism the music industry demands. Kockiee gladly welcomes any challenge, and his dedication has placed him on an accelerated path to greatness.
He is determined to have even more of his city’s support. Being previously defined as an outstanding street lyricist, he decided to expand as an artist by creating a commercial dimension to his musical catalog. His hottest single, “Tip Toe”, features Tampa's hottest R&B sensation, Javon Black.
